No. In California, a standard Class C driver's license is all you need to operate a Polaris Slingshot. No motorcycle endorsement is required.

A $300 refundable security deposit is collected in person at pickup. It is returned in full after the vehicle is returned and inspected, assuming no damage, excessive cleaning, fines, or other charges as outlined in the rental agreement.

The Slingshot must remain within Los Angeles County unless we provide prior written authorization. PCH, Malibu, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, and Downtown LA are all fair game.

We use Stripe Identity to verify your government-issued photo ID with a live selfie check. This happens during the booking flow, before payment, and takes about a minute.

Cancellations made 48+ hours before pickup receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours of pickup are non-refundable. Contact us if you have a scheduling conflict — we'll do our best to reschedule.

We have three pickup hubs: Downtown Los Angeles, Hollywood, and Long Beach — all by appointment only. The exact pickup address is sent to you after your reservation is confirmed.

Basic coverage is included. Renters are responsible for damage beyond normal wear, traffic citations, tolls, and any fines incurred during the rental period. Full terms are in the rental agreement.
